SkyWorld and RHB Banking Group have embarked on a strategic collaboration to promote green-certified homeownership for purchasers of The Vesta Residences and Curvo Residences. This marks the first-ever partnership between both parties to introduce RHB’s Green Home Financing scheme for SkyWorld’s green-certified homes.

RHB Bank will offer a higher margin of 95% Green Home Financing for both projects, exceeding the conventional mortgage’s maximum margin of 90%. This represents a significant stride in fostering sustainable living within the property sector.

SkyWorld in partnership with Alliance Bank Malaysia Berhad (“Alliance Bank”), is excited to announce an enhanced homeownership experience through Alliance Home Complete, a strategic product that offers up to RM150,000 in additional financing to homebuyers. This product is available to Alliance Bank Home Loan customers, designed to facilitate an easier path to homeownership and expand their financial options to customise their homes.

Minister of Housing and Local Government honoured SkyWorld for winning gold at the prestigious FIABCI World Prix d'Excellence Awards for two consecutive years. SkyWorld's quality and innovation were recognized for the second year in a row with its third installment of the Awani series, SkyAwani 3, at the esteemed FIABCI World Prix d’Excellence Awards 2024, held at Gardens by the Bay, Singapore.

SkyWorld has entered into a joint development agreement (“JDA”) with PR1MA Corporation Malaysia (“PR1MA”) to build PR1MA Homes (the “Project”) on a 1.97-acre leasehold land in Brickfields, Kuala Lumpur. The Project, known as SkyAwani Prima, will feature 491 units of affordable apartments, each with built-up area of 900 sq.

A milestone in Malaysia's affordable housing sector was achieved today with the signing of a Joint Development Agreement (JDA) between Penang Development Corporation (PDC), PDC Properties (a subsidiary of PDC), and SkyWorld Development Berhad. The tripartite agreement will bring to life the Rumah Bakat Baru MADANI scheme, heralded as the nation's largest affordable housing development project.

When combined with the existing Rumah Mampu Milik units, both schemes firmly establish the project as a cornerstone of the Federal Government’s commitment under the Rancangan Malaysia Ke-12 to deliver 500,000 affordable homes by 2025.

SkyWorld had clinched 3 Regional Awards at Asia Pacific Property Awards. SkyMeridien @ Sentul was awarded a 5 Star rating for the Best Residential High-Rise Architecture and Apartment/ Condominium. The Valley @ Setiawangsa was awarded winner of the Residential High-Rise Architecture category.

SkyWorld bagged the prestigious Top-10 Developer Awards at BCI Asia Awards ceremony. SkyWorld was awarded for emphasis on quality and sustainability in its projects.

From December 2017 to February 2018, SkyWorld collaborated with the Star Media Group to unveil #DaretoCare CSR drive to help the underprivileged society.

Grand opening of SkyWorld Quality Centre, the first of its kind in Malaysia. This marked another important SkyWorld milestone for championing QLASSIC/ CONQUAS quality commitments in all its Kuala Lumpur developments. SkyWorld Quality Centre, the very first in Malaysia was launched as a commitment pledge to quality workmanship.

SkyWorld Sukuk Program was awarded the Best Structured Finance Deal of the Year 2017 by Islamic Finance News (IFN), a leading Islamic finance news provider; Blueprint Award 2017 by RAM and Best Structured Finance Sukuk.

SkyWorld clinched 3 Regional Awards for Interior Design Show Home (SkyLuxe On The Park @ Bukit Jalil), Public Service Development (SkyArena Sports Complex @ Setapak) and Public Service Architecture(SkyArena Sports Complex @ Setapak). SkyWorld was honoured special recognition for the being the Best Gen Y Employer by Aon Best Employers Award 2017. Winning this award further strengthens SkyWorld brand positioning, both as a staff-centric employer and a professionally managed business.

SkyWorld announced first landmark SUKUK transaction, first transaction in Malaysia involving unbilled sales and the first to involve affordable housing. Globally, this is also the first Shariah-compliant securitization of progress billings in the market.

2017

Following the successful launch of Ascenda residences, Phase 1 of SkyArena integrated development in Setapak, SkyWorld launched the second phase, Bennington Residences (Tower B).

SkyWorld hosted the first topping off ceremony to commemorate the early construction of Ascenda Residences @ SkyArena.

Talent pool increased from 53 employees in 2015 to 120 employees in 2016.

2016

SkyAwani 1 Residences in Sentul launched, a SkyWorld CSR initiative as well as the affordable homes series in compliance with the Malaysian Government’s affordable housing programme known as ‘Rumah Mampu Milik Wilayah Persekutuan (RUMAWIP). SkyAwani 1 Residences recorded a sensational 100% take-up.

2015

NTP World Development rebranded itself as SkyWorld Development Group to better reflect its new vision, mission and core business of providing the ultimate Sky Living experience in a sustainable environment within the city centre. All developments by SkyWorld started carrying the prefix “Sky” in their respective names, and mirroring the company’s three brand pillars (SkyWorld Strengths) to reinforce the SkyWorld master brand. The SkyWorld Strengths are Value Creations, SkyLiving Experience, Innovation.

SkyWorld introduced its first master development – the 28-acre SkyArena development in Setapak. SkyArena is an integrated city development boasting the first multi-storey sports complex in Setapak which will be set in a 2-acre lush environment.Phase 1 of SkyArena, called Ascenda Residences, achieved an exceptional 100% take-up.
